October 6 2017
With heavy rain falling the second Friday practice session for the 2017 Japanese GP would firstly see its start be delayed by an hour and then once the session got underway there would only be five times set during the session and only 14 cars would run. For the Williams team Felipe Massa and Lance Stroll would finish in 4th and 5th. It was a far from productive session with the team only getting some data of the track conditions with the heavy rain.
