Canadian GP: Williams Martini GP Preview
By Williams Martini Racing
June 2 2014
After running at the unique Monaco circuit the Williams Martini team moves to the city of Montreal for the 2014 Canadian GP. This circuit is know for its long straights and slow and tight chicanes. The team feels that the FW36 is well suited to this track with both Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas aiming to continue their point scoring results.

Fingers crossed for an impressive weekend! However, slow corner traction may be an issue that takes away the advantage of the high top speed, especially if it is a bit chilly and the team can't get the tyres to work.
At least that's my take on it any way!

Well, we seem to have good mechanical traction, we miss some aero-downforce traction, we may be ok, fingers crossed...

** an updated diffuser, probably used earlier but I couldnt find good picture of it at Monaco.

I have everything crossed for a Williams podium this weekend. Lets hope the Ferraris and RedBull's are left breathless down the straights, Williams' tyre wear outdoes the Force Indias, qualifying isn't fluffed, and both Williams find room at the start.
So much can go wrong, but fingers crossed that for once everything goes to plan.

It would be harsh on Williams not to get a single podium this season.

beginning to shape up that way. It's like 2009, but this time with two fairly decent drivers rather than 1.

I only hope it doesn't end up like 2009, when Lotus finds a sudden improvement in second half of the season and edge Williams by point or two for 6th in WCC, when it looked like Williams would be fighting for 4th or 5th for most of the year.
