Day 2 at Mugello and race distance run for MS

Second day of testing Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro at the Mugello circuit. Michael Schumacher was driving today, carrying out a race distance simulation. The test began at 9.45 and ended at 16.15. A total of 78 laps was completed, the best time being a 1’22”549.

Nick Heidfeld was also out on track for Sauber-Petronas. He did 63 laps with a best time of 1’25”853. Testing continues tomorrow, once again with Michael Schumacher driving.
