Ferrari’s Rubens Barrichello is to team up with his fellow Brazilian Felipe Massa as they race in the Granja Viana 500 Kart Challenge. Barrichello will be teamed up with Massa as well as Tony Kanaan. This will be the sixth running of the event and takes place on November 9-10 in Brazil.

Barrichello and Massa are no strangers to the event and between them have won four times. Massa was part of the team to win the first event back in 1997 while Rubens has been the victor in 1998, 2000 and 2001 so he will be going for a hatrick or wins this time round.

The event is a main part of Brazilian motorsport and this year they are expecting some 70 teams and 250 drivers to compete, with drivers coming from all areas of motorsport.
