Speaking about Ross Brawn’s absence Rubens Barrichello is confident that the Englishman will be fit in time to arrive in Italy at some point in the weekend but for now the team must do with their master tactician.

"It's like one of those things that you are always going to sort out tomorrow,” said Barrichello. “Ross has been feeling back pain for a long time but when you are working you put these things off. Recently though it got so bad that he couldn't move anymore. Last week was really painful and I was calling him up as he was having things checked. He's a bit better now and I'm sure he is going to be here."

Brawn’s absence for the start of the weekend may or may not cause some problems for Ferrari. Ross is very keen to return as soon as possible but will have to take it easy until he is fully fit again. Brawn will however be in constant contact with the team and keeping up to date on the way things are going at Monza.
