Ferrari to drag FIA to civil court

Ferrari are reportedly prepared to drag the FIA to civil court if further sanctions are imposed by the World Motor Sport Council next month.
Though the team is not commenting on the possible outcome of the hearing to be held on September 8, Italy's La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that Ferrari wouldn't mind doing what Flavio Briatore successfully did against his lifetime motor racing ban.
“In this sort of situation, the best policy is to respect and to trust in the highest level of the sport’s governing body,” said Ferrari.
Former FIA President, Max Mosley had called for further punishment to Ferrari, but agree that teams prefer withdrawal of team orders rule.
“Most teams are calling for the withdrawal of team orders, which I can understand, because it’s in their interests,” said Mosley on Sunday.
“But if we are to meet the needs of the public, who are in their millions, watching races all around the world and ultimately funding the sport, then we need to keep the ban,” he said to Germany’s Welt am Sonntag newspaper.
Mosley had called for deduction of the team and driver points earned at the German GP.
