Overalls and shirts get the Spyker makeover

Spyker have wasted no time in creating a new identity for their team. This all started with a new car livery, first shown at the Silverstone test and culminated in new pit crew overalls and team shirts worn for the first time in China.

The team press release published after the new Spyker M16 livery was made public hinted that the pit crew were going to receive some attention, but no one had any idea as to when.

All became clear after the Chinese Grand Prix race on Sunday when a small selection of pictures appeared showing the pit crews in their new black Spyker overalls. In addition it would appear that the team shirts have also received the same treatment and are now also black with sponsor logos picked out in white. Whether this is simply the traditional colour scheme for Spyker Cars' other racing ventures is unclear.

We are trying to find out whether Spyker M F1 Racing intend to release any this gear as team merchandise. If we get an answer, we'll let you know.
