Tiago Monteiro and Christijan Albers will be joined in Rotterdam tomorrow by Nico Rosberg and Eddie Jordan for a festival of F1 at the Bavaria City Racing event.
Christijan attended the event last year when he drove the 2005 Minardi through the streets. This year, Midland will be in full attendance as Tiago will also run the M16 through the streets.
Christijan said: "I'm very excited to be performing in front of my home fans for the second year in a row. As I told everyone on the team, last year was really amazing, so I'm looking forward to showing them the kind of enthusiasm the Dutch people have for motorsport. I encourage everyone who can to come out and see the show - it will be 'maximum attack' all the way!"
"The team is very excited about coming to Holland." commented Colin Kolles.
"Christijan told us about the huge amount of interest the event generated last
year, so we are looking forward to building on that success this year with
Christijan behind the wheel once again."
Johnny Herbert said: "Street demos are spectacular events, especially when
they're held downtown, in the heart of a big city like Rotterdam. It gives those
people who don't normally get the opportunity to visit an F1 event a taste of
what it's all about -- the speed, the power, the noise... It should be a lot of
fun for everyone involved, and we can't wait to put on a great show for our
Dutch fans."
Eddie Jordan and his band, the V10's will be performing live and there will be a parade of historic racing cars from as far back as the 1920's.
