Albers wants to stay at Midland.

It's emerged that current Midland driver Christijan Albers has been offered a race drive for 2007 Formula One World Championship by the Japanese Super Aguri team.

Christijan's manager Lodewijk Varossieau told F1Racing.Net that an offer had been made and that it will be considered, however Christijan's priority is to stick with Midland. "We have received an interesting offer from Super Aguri team boss Daniel Audetto indeed." he said.  "It is an offer we will consider but Christijan has already told me he would prefer to stick with Midland as the team has been improving very well during the season."

We certainly hope that he sticks around to help push Midland further up the grid.
