Renault F1 pilot Giancarlo Fisichella believes that french tyre supplier Michelin who supplies Renault F1 will be the best tyre at the next grand prix at Spain. This comes after bridgestone and Ferrari had the upped hand at the European grand prix

After bridgestone and Ferrari had the upper hand at the european grand prix where Michael Schumacher pipped Fisichella's team mate Fernando Alonso to victory, Fisico believes that the French tyre manufacturer will have the advantage in the next grand pris at Spain

“I am very optimistic for the race weekend, and I hope it will be a bit easier than the last one!” he said.

“Barcelona is a very tough circuit for the tyres, as we all know.

“The asphalt is quite abrasive and there are some high speed corners that are hard for the tyres, like the last two corners. But I know Michelin will bring good tyres for this race.

“They know the circuit well and they are working very hard. I am feeling very confident for Spain, we know the Michelins will be quick!”
