Renault driver Giancarlo Fisichella will unfrotunatly drop 10 places back on the grid because of an engine problem from the prevous grand prix at Imola. This could seriously damage renault chance in the constructrs championship

It seems that Renault's Italian driver Giancarlo Fisichella's run of bad luck this season is continuing at the Belgian grand prix at Spa! The Roman will have to drop 10 places on the grid after the team discovered there was a problem with Fisi's R25 engine.

This drop of 10 places is seriously going to hamper the team in their quest to gain the constructors championship as there is only 9 points in it between themselves and Mclaren and need both of their drivers to score heavy points in order to keep this dream alive.

The penalty may also affect Fernando Alonso's world drivers championship campaign as Fisichella will not necessarily be at the front of the field to help the young Spaniard. Fisichella has been very much a team player helping his team mate in recent races. unfortunately because of this penalty he might not be able to do this.

Lets hope the rain that is expected can help Fisi make his way through the field and be fighting for the podium or even victory!
