Marca, that does not mentions their sources suggest that Prost could become Briatore's assistant for the 2005 season in order to have the experience with the team to jump in the head role in 2006 when Briatore is gone.
Alain prost very recently criticised Briatore's decission to hire Jacques Villeneuve after dumping Jarno Trulli. Alain Prost thought that French test driver Franck Montagny should have been the one promoted to take Trulli's car.
However, Marca reports, the future of Renault F1 program is still in the air for 2006 as in April 2005 Renault will have a new president with the Brazilian Carlos Ghosn.
