Renault lost in China!

The Renault F1 team is having a tough start of the Chinese Grand Prix as both drivers were well off pace during the first two sessions. Fernando Alonso finished 13th more than 2 seconds off the best time set by Anthony Davidson of BAR Honda.

It was not the best of starts at th Chinese Grand Prix for Renault today as both drivers struggled to find top pace today.

Alonso completed 27 laps to the Shangai track to finish with a time of 1.35.514, 2.2 seconds behind the best time set by Anthony Davidson on a blue livered BAR Honda who led with a time of 1.33.289.

Jacques Villeneuve finished slightly slower than his teammate and set a best time of 1.35.851 to finish 15th on the time sheets.
