Trulli 2nd, Alonso 6th at Friday's Practice!

The Renault F1 team has reasons to smile as today's free Practice finished with both cars in the top 6. Jarno Trulli set the 2nd best time just 0.1 seconds behind the McLaren of David Coulthard.

The Jaguar of Antonio Pizzonia, that is showing good speed so far in this track, followed Trulli closely.

Michael Schumacher and Mark Webber finished 4th and 5th just ahead of the second Renault driven by Fernando Alonso.

The times were very close this morning with 12 drivers finishing within one second.

Quite surprisingly, Rubens Barrichello, Ralf Schumacher and Kimi Raikkonen finished 12th, 13th and 14th this morning.

Williams-BMW that are expected to do well at this track because of their strong engine could only finish 10th and 13th today.

Michael Schumacher was the driver that run the highest number of laps of the session, 33, in a try to come to grips with a circuit in which he has only won once in his career.

The work in the pits will get underway in preparation of Friday Qualifying that will take place today at 14:00 local time.
