2006 Isle of Man TT: John McGuinness has done it again at the TT. The Supersport race was run over four laps under a clear blue sky and warm sunshine, and he now has a record of ten victories on the challenging course.

John dominated the race from the off. With Ian Hutchinson chasing him, he set a new lap record yet again at 123.975mph, with a lap time of 18min 15.61secs.

John and his team had been working on his bike until ten minutes before the off, changing the gearing and some engine parts. John said, “I had a good run out to Glen Helen, and knew by then that we had a good set-up. The guys had done a good job on the bike, so I had to do a good job in the race. I really had to push hard through the race - this is probably one of my best races.”

Youngster William Dunlop finished in 27th position on his début at the TT. There will be more from this talented young man in the future.
