These pictures show the mileage on Evesy’s bike at the end of the journey, and the intrepid four outside of Real Madrid’s football ground, where they had a short break and then headed for home.

One thing of note was that they arrived at the stadium at 7:00pm on the Saturday night. There will be an e-book compiled by the four riders, and published on the net as soon as it is ready - with donations going to the North Wales Air Ambulance.

It will certainly make entertaining reading, with the stories I have been told over the past two days, so keep a look out for the book and the video - and please give generously to this worthwhile cause.
Their main diet whilst completing their ride was one pack of sandwiches, along with Mars bars, high energy protein bars, along with plenty of fluids. After speaking to Evesy today, he said, “It was very worthwhile, and I was overjoyed that we had all completed the trip with no major problems. Yes, there were a few, but you will have to wait for the book to be completed to read all about it. There’s some very amusing photographs, and also some very meaningful ones - as this kind of trip needs stamina to say the least, along with a sense of humour. I would like to thank all the sponsors, and especially the friends and family members who backed us all when we announced our intentions to do this ride.”
The four riders - Simon ‘Evesy’ Eve, Mark ‘Smudge’ Smith, Ray Grice and Carl Dodd - would like to thank Bill Smith Racing for the preparation of the bikes prior to leaving for the trip, all their sponsors, and to those who kindly donated monies to the Air Ambulance. Over £2000 alone was collected from people who attended the lads’ homecoming at Scott’s Nightclub in Wrexham, and the collections will continue.
Thanks go to all the sponsors and owner Bob Scott, for allowing the riders to leave and enter the Nightclub to a rousing reception.
