The third round of the British NORA Championships takes place this weekend at Blyton Raceway, Gainsborough. With a packed entry for this weekend’s race in the 450 and Open Class the racing is bound to be as heated as ever.

Fresh from competing in Europe, Warren Steele, Christian Iddon (pictured) and Leighton Haigh will be hoping to bring some of the experience they learnt in the Czech Republic back to the UK.

Warren - who was top Brit in Europe in the Open Class - will, as always, be pushing hard, and will be hoping to take his Scorpion backed Husqvarna to the top spot. Hot on his heels will be factory KTM rider Ady Smith, Husaberg pairing of Christian Iddon and Andy Mitchell, and factory Honda’s Leighton Haigh.

Haigh, who scooped a fifth place in the 450 class at the European Round, one place in front of youngster Iddon, will be hoping to regain his 450 form and take his third win of the Championship.

Blyton Raceway is situated five miles north of Gainsborough on the A159. Check out www.norasport.com for more details.
