Super Aguri team given Green Light

There will be a big smile on the face of Aguri Suzuki today, as all 10 Formula 1 teams approve his team's late entry into the 2006 season. Some teams originally blocking the late entrance, one expected to be Midland, but have been persuaded to allow the team for the good of the sport.
Super Aguri, with the backing of the F1 paddock, can now re-apply to enter the 2006 Championship.
Aguri said "I'm very happy to announce that all ten F1 teams have approved our late entry to the F1 world championship today.
"I'd like to thank all of them and assure them that Super Aguri F1 will cooperate and do our best to reach your expectations. We appreciate your support and will not let you down."

The team, powered by a Honda V8, is not expected to be very high up the grid in it’s rookie season. Even the A23’s were not significantly faster than Minardi’s 2003 model, so Stoddart did not use them.
However, it is expected that Aguri's own car will be in use by around Round 4 in the season.
