Eight teams lead the way during the second week of winter testing. Renault’s Franck Montagny lead the way with a limited V10 engine with Ferrari 0.2 seconds behind with their V8 engine. Toyota’s Ralf Schumacher and returning Ryan Briscoe finished seventh and thirteenth respectively.

 On a busy circuit Midland launched their winter testing livery fielding Christian Albers and Thomas Biagi, sadly the team would finish last out of the batch of eight. Narain Karthikeyan was out on track in a Williams Cosworth, hoping to become their third driver next year, the Indian who is never scared of putting a car on the limit, finished 0.4 seconds ahead of Williams race driver Nico Rosberg and as well as McLaren’s Pedro de la Rosa.
