Ralf chops off Willi

Ralf Schumacher and manager Willi Weber, it was announced have parted company. The German who has managed both the Schumacher brothers, has after 13 years split with Ralf.

Weber insisted that they were 'still friends' and that their partnership was 'just not working anymore'.

However, the German media has suggested that the dispute was about money, and infact their partnership was due to continue throughout 2006, giving specualtion that a cash settlement was probably needed.

"We simply found nothing in common for a further cooperation," Weber said on Monday, but added "There is no animosity."
