Europe: Jordan and Toyota partnership to continue?

Toyota's team president John Howett is considering a 'request' to supply Jordan with Toyota engines for another season extending their one year deal.

Howett told autosport.com: "We have submitted an initial proposal but if they decide no, they have another offer. If they are happy, then fine. I think every one needs to decide quickly because of designs for next year."

Jordan had been lined to a supply of Ferrari engines for next season under the new management of Midland F1 as well as Cosworth, but by the rumours circling the German paddock this weekend Jordan will once again be powered by Toyota engines for the 2006 season.
