Everyone at www.totallytoyotaf1.com wishes you a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Luke and Naomi wish all the the best from fans of the team to fans of any other team. 2008 has been a brilliant season of Formula One and it will go down as one of the best ever.
It saw the Toyota F1 Team make a huge step forward and be competitive with drivers Jarno Trulli and Timo Glock pushing hard all throughout the year. Ater two podiums for both drivers in France and Hungary. Toyota pushed hard all the year and finished the season in fifth place. Jarno and Timo both finished inside the top ten in the drivers championship. 2008 also saw a brilliant battle for the top spot. Lewis Hamilton and Felipe Massa both had brilliant seasons and in the end it was the final race in Brazil that decided the winner. In the end it was Hamilton who came out on top and won the title.

How much I wish 2009 would finally be the decisive breakthrough for the Team of Redwhites.
With Japanese manufacturers leaving from all kinds of motorsport series, I can only hope Toyota doesn't follow their path. At least the signs are positive as even the big bosses from Japan have denied Toyota's withdrawal. Toyota will have to be the saviour of Japanese racing honour in 2009 with others having jumped the ship.
