Jerez Day 1: Toyota Alone at Jerez

Toyota made use of the free track time at the Jerez circuit in Spain with new test driver Franck Montagny and Toyota's Japanese driver devevelopment star Kohei Hirate on track for the team.

Franck did 79 laps and Kohei 82 and non too suprisningly the former Super Aguri race driver and Renault test star Montagny out-paced Hirate by just over a second. Franck's time come the end of the day a 1.20.073 compared to Kohei's 1.21.214. More teams join the fray tommorow.
