Lucky Strike BAR Honda's superb showing at Suzuka will be the launch-pad to even greater success in 2004 according to Shuhei Nakamoto, Engineering Director, Honda Racing Development. "I want to use this as a springboard for next season," he says.

Understandably everyone involved at Honda was delighted with Sunday's result which saw Jenson Button finish fourth and Takuma Sato finish sixth - a season's best that cofirmed Lucky Strike BAR Honda in fifth place in the 2003 FIA Constructors' Championship.

"A great way to end the season, especially in front of our home crowd," continued Nakamoto. "Both our guys were really strong out there and our strategy worked perfectly. Jenson pushed hard and showed good pace throughout the race and Taku coped brilliantly with the pressure of a home debut. I'm also very pleased that we secured fifth in the constructors' championship today - the car worked really well and the boys did a great job on all the stops."
