The current championship leader Fernando Alonso believes Ferrari are the "favourites" for F1's upcoming Trans Atlantic races.
Fernando was quick to stress that despite the McLaren’s dominant victory on the streets of Monte Carlo, it was Ferrari who had the edge, especially at Indianapolis. A circuit that Fernando hasn't scored well at throughout his career
"We hope it can be different this year," Alonso was quoted in Diario As, "because we now all go there with the same tyres."
Adding: "But Ferrari usually win at Indianapolis and so I believe that they go there starting as the favourites -- and the same for Canada."
While Ferrari have failed since 2001 to win at the famous street circuit at Monte Carlo, they have had total domination at Indy winning in succession for the last five years.
