A Four Way Battle

Vodafone McLaren Mercedes driver Fernando Alonso believes that the 2007 championship will be contested by 4 teams, such as Ferrari, Renault, BMW and Honda which in Fernando’s view could challenge for race wins.

Fernando who moved to McLaren over the winter said he expects to have a challenging fight for race wins and championship wins. Although the Spaniard believes that Honda are a little behind the rest of the teams, but he said he doesn’t know what’s going to happen.

"There are about five teams who could win a race I think. BMW, Renault, Ferrari could win. I think Honda is a little bit behind perhaps at this moment. Nobody knows what is going to happen because there is a different team on top of the time sheets every day. We just have to wait and see what happens at the first race."

"It will be important to us to be among the top four or five cars. We must try to cover as many miles as possible to improve the car's reliability."
