The Red Bull Racing driver duo of Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber are fit and better prepared than ever acoording to team boss Christian Horner. who is confident that they will be "bang on the pace" from the outset.
Contrary to an off-season nightmare of having to recover from a broken leg in 2008/9, Webber has been able to prepare with a full fitness program for this season. Speaking to Reuters, Christian Horner confirmed, "Compared to 2009 obviously he is much better prepared in that he's been able to train properly throughout the winter. He had a small surgery in the end of November just to remove a couple of screws from the plate within his leg which has given him a lot more movement and freedom to train thoroughly."
Horner is equally excited about Vettels state of readiness: "Sebastian has obviously been working extremely hard on his fitness as well and I'm quietly confident that both drivers will be bang on the pace. Sebastian is such a young guy I think he will only have developed and grown stronger and benefited from his experiences in 2009,"
