Webber to stay with WilliamsF1

Even though the WilliamsF1 team has lost its BMW engines team at the end of the 2005 season team driver Mark Webber can still see chances of success with new engine supplier Cosworth.

WebberWebber is prepared to stick with the WilliamsF1 team despite losing the support of a major car manufacturer.

Webber said: 'We could have a reliable, solid little package so we could (win)."

As for the loss of BMW Webber felt that is was simply time to move on and work at the new relationship with Cosworth. Webber added: "We've seen massive manufacturers work well and also see them get it wrong. There's an argument that you want a big manufacturer, we haven't got it, so let's move on."

As for team-mate Nick Heidfeld there has been considerable speculation regarding his future. He has been linked with not only the WilliamsF1 team, if the team takes up their option on his services, but also BAR and now the BMW team.

As for a future with BMW Nick denied speculation that such a deal with BMW's had been signed. Nick made it clear that no decision had been made. Nick said: "I can assure you now that no decisions have been made.''
