Heidfeld's New Helmet Design

Qualifying for the German Grand Prix would see BMW WilliamsF1's Mark Webber and Nick Heidfeld qualify in sixth and seventh respectively.

For Nick Heidfeld this race is his home Grand Prix and he wanted something special, so he had a new design for his helmet for this race. The normal yellow areas of the helmet are now done in gold.

Nick explained on the BMW WilliamsF1 web site why he has the new design. Nick said: “The new design of my helmet just has to bring me some luck in my home race. I wanted something special for my home race.”
