Gene leaves WilliamsF1

After a long and impressive time as the teams test driver Marc Gene has finally left the BMW WilliamsF1 team. He is moving to the Ferrari team joining Luca Badoer as their second test driver for the 2005.

Marc's contract with the team finished at the end of 2004 so both parties decided to go their separate ways. The poor performances that Marc put in in those Grand Prix in 2004 where he filled in for an injured Ralf Schumacher may have helped the WilliamsF1 teams decision that little bit easier.
