FIA modifies Saturday schedule

As of the Bahrain Grand Prix the opening qualifying session will take place at 13:00 hrs local time, while the second qualifying session won’t begin two minutes after the end of qualifying one in future, but at 14:00 hrs. This will allow teams, especially those teams running first in the second qualifying session, additional time to get their cars ready.

As a result Saturday’s free practice sessions have also been brought forward by one hour. The third free practice session will start at 09:00 hrs while session four will begin at 10:15 hrs.
