Singapore GP: Mixed Friday for Atlassian Williams Racing
By Williams Racing
October 4 2025
Friday practice for the 2025 Singapore GP would see the Atlassian Williams Racing Team come away with a mixed set of results. After FP2 we would see Carlos Sainz finish 8th and Alex Albon 13th. For Carlos it was a relatively straightforward day as he worked through his program. But for Alex Albon his Friday would start with a brake fire that saw him fail to complete any running in FP1. The team was able to repair his car in time for FP2 but the loss of track time affected his ultimate pace. On top of this both Carlos and Alex would suffer from several Red Flags during the FP2 session limiting their running. Still quite a lot of work to do in the final Saturday practice session, the only limitation been that FP3 is at a time that is not a reflection of when qualifying will run.
