Spanish GP: Race an improvement for Williams Racing
By Williams Racing
June 5 2023
After the difficulties across both the Friday and the Saturday with their lack of pace the Williams Racing Team would go into the Spanish GP unsure of where they would end up. The results did not see them secure any points with Alex Albon finishing 16th and Logan Sargeant 20th but it terms of their pace compared to other teams they did feel that they came away better than expected particuularly for Alex. Logan would show early pace but his final stint on the hard tyre saw him suffer from a yet to be determined drop off in pace. Spain was always going to be difficult what with the FW45 and its lack of downforce so coming away with a somewhat positive result can not be a bad thing.
