Am I the only one who thinks that the whole tire thing has become ridiculously over-complicated and boring? I personally just switch off when people start talking about tire compounds now.

They should just quit the C numbering. Just hard medium and soft. Let Pirelli decide on the compound which is which. Fans do not need to know this.

I like this year's system better than last year's rainbow.
And at least there are some small variations between teams and drivers regarding their tyre choices. Has this ever impacted a race? I don't know. I doubt it.
We're talking about it though. That's the main reason behind it.

Prime option inter wet. That was always best. Nobody cared which of the toughness range we were on at any given track. If you had prime medium option inter wet to allow for the 3 tyre rule that would be fine too.
