It will most likely be a wet weekend. It's been raining almost every day the whole week and more rain expected the next week.

There was a bad forecast last year, but it turned out dry for the race, albeit damp in early qualifying. It would rain heavily in the afternoon, but by night time, it would dry up, as tends to happen in those parts. Heavy thundery rain forecast each day is no real guide.
still- I would love to see a truly wet night race.
If it remains dry, I see this race as an opportunity for a Williams driver to get a bit of notice and to maybe pinch some points. Monaco has proved to be Williams' competitive highlight this year, and the team have always gone strongly at Singapore. A points finish may be irrelevant in terms of Constructors position, but dependent on whether Rubens or Maldonado can shine, it could have a bearing on whether Rubens stays at Williams in 2012.

Crusty, same thing this year. So far it has been raining early mornings and afternoons drying up at night. Yesterday and the day before was the same.

lets just hope that those predictions come to pass as trying to run a race when the air is saturated with refracting water droplets would be a nightmare.

Yeah we don't want one of these "safety car for bad weather while cars duck into the pits for slicks" situations that seems to be coming closer and closer to reality at every wet race.
