The AT&T
Williams team commenced their three day test at the Silverstone circuit.
After the disappointment of the French Grand Prix the team is now focused on
their home race, the British Grand Prix.
On
a warm and sunny day the team worked through their preparations for the race
at Silverstone. The first day of the three days of testing was successful in
that the team was able to complete their test programme without any
problems.
Nico Rosberg was
present for the days testing and would complete eighty eight laps with a
best lap time of 1m:21.410, which would see him fifth.
Williams Test Team Manager Dickie Stanford commented: "Nico joined the team
for our first day of testing at Silverstone today. In readiness for the race
here in just under two weeks, we worked through a number of set-up items and
completed our scheduled programme without any problems. Nico will continue
in the car tomorrow.” |
