 Monza Test 29:08:2007 Day Two

On another hot and humid day the AT&T Williams team would complete their second day of testing at the Monza circuit. This time it would be Alex Wurz would would carry out the days testing.

After completing seventy one laps Alex would finish eighth fastest with a best lap time of 1m:24.356. This was well over half a second faster Kazuki Nakajima's time from the fastest day.

Alex would suffer from a technical problem in the afternoon which would see Alex stop at Turn six bringing out the red flag.

Williams F1 Test Team Manager Dickie Stanford commented: "Alex joined us today and we completed the majority of our planned programme with him, despite having a couple of showers today and a small technical problem in the afternoon. Nico joins us for tomorrow’s running, although with 80-85% humidity today, we are anticipating some wet weather tomorrow which may not allow us to complete our full programme.".
