With the
Williams team having to deal with showers in the afternoon they completed
their second day of testing at the Silverstone circuit.
Alex Wurz had
replaced Kazuki Nakajima on a day that would see the Austrian set the third
fastest time. The team would test a new aerodynamic package in preparation
for the up coming races.
Alex would also have to contend with delays to his testing due to a
hydraulic problem with his car.
Dickie Stanford, Test Team Manager, Williams F1:
Alex took over from Kazuki for the second day of testing at Silverstone
today. We’re currently trying out a new aero package and have been working
through revised set-ups to compliment it. We’ll now spend the evening
preparing the car for Nico who will run tomorrow on our last day. |
