Paul Ricard Test 15:05:2007 Day One

With the last race in Spain just a few days ago the AT&T Williams team was back testing this time at the Paul Ricard circuit. The team had Nico Rosberg carrying out the driving duties in preparation for the next round of the F1 season, the Monaco Grand Prix.

On a day that was very windy early in the day, clearing in the afternoon the team was able to work through an extensive test programme. Nico would finish the day fifth fastest with a time of 1m:07.189, completing 128 laps.

AT&T Williams Test Team Manager Dickie Stanford commented: “At a very windy Paul Ricard circuit, we’ve been running through a substantial test programme today. Nico completed a considerable 128 laps on the modified,
Monaco-based track and experienced no problems with the car. We will carry
on with our planned schedule tomorrow with Alex driving.”
