Hungary GP Saturday 1st Practice
For the BMW WilliamsF1 team the preparations continued as both Ralf and Juan Pablo took to the circuit in the opening Saturday practice session. As far as the times set it would only see Juan Pablo in eleventh and Ralf thirteenth.

Juan Pablo takes to the trackThe Hungaroring circuit is not one where power makes such a huge impact, it is the car's balance that matters. The circuit would see some over night rain which would reduce the grip levels, so as the session progressed and more rubber was put down the times dropped.

With the focus been on the Grand Prix Ralf, along with some of the other drivers, decided to donate money to those who had been affected by the recent floods in Germany and Austria.

The session would see both Juan Pablo and Ralf putting in some long runs. Juan Pablo would have a moment as he passed Mark Webber, with Webber leaving him little room, which nearly saw both drivers touch. In the final ten minutes of the session Ralf would make a small mistake and was forced to head across a gravel trap.

Again the top of the times would be dominated by Ferrari with Michael Schumacher heading Rubens Barrichello. Both drivers were to improve on their Friday times. Michael improved his time by two seconds and finished eight tenths faster than Barrichello.

BAR's Olivier Panis was able to continue his good showing of Friday with another very competitive time. He was able to set a time of 1m:16.148. Sauber’s Felipe Massa was fourth, ahead of Giancarlo Fisichella who was also quick yesterday, Kimi Raikkonen, and Nick Heidfeld.

BAR's Jacques Villeneuve managed eighth, followed by Jenson Button. Button's session would be spoiled when he was to hit the wall at turn eleven in the dying moments of the session. Button was followed by McLaren's David Coulthard.

Juan-Pablo was eleventh ahead of Renault's Jarno Trulli. Ralf was thirteenth. Jaguar's Pedro de la Rosa finished fourteenth, followed by Jordan’s Takuma Sato, Mika Salo, Allan McNish, and Eddie Irvine. Minardi's Mark Webber was nineteenth, and Minardi team-mate Anthony Davidson filled the last spot.
