Arrows drivers looking forward to the first corner

The redesign of the first corner, into four new corners, has generated a lot of comment from the Formula 1 paddock. Heinz-Harald Frentzen seems to think that the first corner, a tight righthand hairpin, will generate opportunities under race conditions.
In a brief statement to the UK TV station ITV Frentzen said, “The good thing about the first turn is that it has various lines, left and right. You can use the outside or inside line, and you can brake very late. It could be that overtaking there is a possibility.”
If Frentzen is going to make places from his 15th on the grid today, then perhaps the first corner needs to be the ‘good thing’ he describes it to be.
