Romance blossoming at Arrows for Bernoldi ?

Enrique Bernoldi admitted at the Autosport show in January this year that he spends a lot of time on his Orange mobile phone talking to girls. It would appear that his admission has a shred of truth if the latest reports from Australia are true...

According to the Australian news portal, The Age, Enrique Bernoldi and Yugoslavian tennis star Jelena Dokic have become an item. Jelena’s own fan site jelena-online.com picked up on the story and alerted her fans, and it was message board contributor ‘Hamster’ that alerted us at AllAboutArrows.

The Age reveals that the two met when their paths crossed at the Spanish Grand Prix in April, and that they have been in phone contact ever since. In addition there has been an article in Motorsport News carrying a photo of Enrique wearing a T-shirt with “I love Jelena” written on it. The photo has been backed up by further comment from message board contributor ‘tzali’ who has been witness to the garment.

Jelena’s fan site has pronounced that they are pleased with the news. Her last romantic encounter was reportedly with Juan Carlos Ferrero in Sydney during the 2000 Olympics.
