OrangeArrows test again at secret UK location

The OrangeArrows test team are due to take to the track again this week, although the team are not participating in the major test taking place at Jeréz in Spain. Every time the team have tested there has been an increase in performance in the car at the next GP venue - an encouraging sign ?

According to the team’s official post-Canadian Grand Prix press release, they will be testing in secret at an undisclosed location. “The OrangeArrows team will conduct aerodynamics testing in the UK next week, with Heinz-Harald at the wheel of the A23,” stated the press release. Curiously it was car balance that upset Heinz-Harald Frentzen’s Canadian Grand Prix, but this isn’t the focus of the published development programme.

The team worked on car balance at a Silverstone test earlier in the year and said that progress had been made. It is likely that no results from this current test will be released by the team, but it’ll be interesting to see whether balance is still an issue at the European Grand Prix in a week’s time.
