During the pre-qualifying build up the ITV coverage in the UK hosted a short interview with Arrows' Heinz-Harald Frentzen. Frentzen said that his performance this weekend was down to the performance of the car and that the team will bounce back strongly for the remainder of the season.
Q. Heinz, a winner (for Williams) of course in 1997 - you're a bit of an Imola specialist, is that fair to say ?
HHF. (Laughing) Different times, different cars - it all matters... I do like Imola of course, it is a challenging circuit especially on the braking. You have to have a good car, and that's where you gain the lap time.
Q. The seasons been a bit disappointing for Arrows so far, is this where you start to improve ?
HHF. Well, I think we're having signs of improvement and we have been a bit late for the start of the season but I think strongly that we'll come back.
Q. Where can you find most time at this circuit ?
HHF. As I said, it is a circuit where you do have a lot of braking areas. There's a lot of acceleration and braking, so you need a bit of power but as well good braking performance. There's not so many challenging corners on the track, so basically it's a car performance track here.
ITV. Thanks Heinz-Harald
