Kimi Wins World Championship.

Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen has won the 2007 world drivers championship by winning the Brazilian Grand Prix in Sao Paublo, The Vodafone McLaren Mercedes formula one team wern't able to challenge the two Ferrari's, which finished first and second in the race today. Lewis Hamilton suffered a gearbox problem which ultimatly cost him the world championship.

Kimi Raikkonen has rightly won the world championship in Brazil, he was followed home by his team mate Felipe Massa. Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton missed out on the championship by one point.

Lewis Hamilton looked like a world championship would be within his grasp, he lost a few places at the start after Kimi Raikkonen blocked Hamilton, which allowed Spains Fernando Alonso to overtake Hamilton on the inside of turn three.

Hamilton was now under pressure, Hamilton made a mistake heading into turn four, locking his breaks, Lewis lost a few places, but still looked to be able to catch up, until his gearbox failed to select the right gear, Hamilton lost half a second to the lead pack, and slipped down the feild to sixteenth.

Even with McLaren's expertise and their stratergy, not to mention Lewis super quick driving, he wasn't able to make up enough places, and missed out on the world championship by one point.

Here's to next year, where Lewis and whoever will partner him at McLaren, will be racing to win the 2008 world championship.
