Buoyed from his twin victories at circuits with different layouts viz., Monza (Italy) and Singapore, the ace Ferrari driver exlaims he is in the best of form.
“The F1 championship is very long compared to other sports so you can’t be completely fit, focused, motivated 100 per cent of the time.”
“But now, in this part of the championship, I’m at a peak,” he was quoted in the Spanish press.
Meanwhile, team boss Domenicali has called for calm and cool approach from his team for the upcoming races.
On prompted, last week, to comment about Alonso's nature, he said that he is “cool and calm and sometimes difficult.”
Alonso's fellow countryman and the youngest F1 driver in the grid, Jaime Alguersuari says that “He is a man of few words” and consider him “a great” F1 racer.
German-language spox.com compared Alonso’s apparent win-at-all-costs attitude with that of Michael Schumacher.
