Campos Meta Officially Present Senna

Completely Campos Meta reported that the Campos Meta team was due to do a presentation on Tuesday 10th November and now we can reveal that Bruno Senna has officially been presented by the team. Once again, the talking point on the agenda at the press conference was the infamous second name that the young Brazilian carries.

However, Senna has reiterated that he wants to make his own mark in Formula One in his own way and not because of the Senna name.

 
 

“I hope, in a short time, that everybody remembers me for being Bruno, myself, and not for my uncle’s surname. I’ve learned to live with it and although it helped me at the beginning to find sponsors and find contacts, to be a driver you need to have a natural talent.”

 

Senna is also determined to prove he has what it takes in motor sports big time and hopes to score points for the team that fulfilled his dream.

 

“I want to score points for my new team and to be the best of all the new teams. Long term, I would like to be Formula One world champion, it’s not enough just to get there.”

 

The identity of Senna’s team mate for next year is not confirmed as the Spanish outfit look for sponsors to strengthen their Formula One campaign.

I'm glad to hear that Bruno himself doesn't plan to trade on his family name, but your article raises concerns about whether Campos is. Does he risk being dumped overboard if he doesn't live up to some unreasonable expectations that they may have about him? (Sm17)

Well I've been reading a lot about this presentation and some people have been saying that they had been struggling for sponsors...I hope its not the case because Bruno is a great driver, I don't support him for the name, I've been following him for 3 years because he has talent in his own right

well Petrov was second in the GP2 behind Hulkenberg so he would be the natural choice but then again Maldonado has been doing his bit in the series too. I think they both deserve a chance in Formula One
