Toyota have given up on 2010 entry

According to SpeedTV's Adam Cooper a source from Toyota has confirmed that the Japanese team gave up its 2010 entry, and that it had no plans to sell it. This adds to Stenfanovic's words this afternoon downplaying the claims that he had bought Toyota's entry. On the other hand the Serbian did reveal that it had signed an agreement with Toyota, predictably the sell of the car design

The article claims that new FIA president Jean Todt has personally confirmed Peter Sauber the 13th grid slot.

So all this goes to dismiss earlier today's rumors, which is a relieve for Sauber. Interesting timing; all is happening in the last few hours! We are certainly very happy to see Peter regaining control of the Hinwil-based team, and hope the entry -major- mess is final solved and announced.

A decision on the grid slots will be "officially" made during the WMSC meeting on December 10th...or perhaps earlier.

I just wanted to point out - another BMW disaster. How many times we were reassured of Quadbak being reliable?

But I'm very happy for Peter and the team. Hope the deals can be made soon.
