Kubica starts the preparation for the overseas GPs

Today Kubica concentrated on the preparation of the US and Canadian GP. He tested in the 5km configuration of the state-of-art Paul Ricard circuit. Despite the bad weather of the afternoon he could complete the planned programme. .

Day three – Thursday

Programme: Today, the drivers were running on the 5.255 km version of the track in preparation for the forthcoming races in Canada and the US. Due to wind and light rain in the afternoon, the conditions were not ideal. Robert started the day defining a baseline set- up for a medium downforce configuration. He then tested different downforce options. Part of today’s programme was the comparison of the two tyre compounds for the two forthcoming races. In addition, Robert made several practice starts. The team was able to complete the planned programme.
