Spanish GP : Saturday Prac & Qualifying.

Well today is one where I really don't expect to see anything major in terms on time reductions and the like.

I just hope that both drivers can get through the day without incident and at least be closer when compared to each other.

Do we know if Patrick is there this weekend.

I think he was only on trackside in China and there's no more plan to at the track, in fact there's no point to be there though!

Now that Robert is getting a new chassis and floor, Let's see what he can do...That's the only exciting thing about our team these days...

We do look closer to racing point here.
Still a long way off the pace, but a little better compared to midfield.

Yes Russell was only 0.4 behind Ricciardo and Norris. Shame Kubica did not get to do his qualifying simulation.

Big gap to Robert. George a little more respectable. He seemed at a loss to know why the car turned off the circuit.

So, what do we see. Renault still struggling. Gasly too. STR + Honda going well and Haas best of the rest.

Albon, Russell and Norris all look like they are settling in well.

Says a lot about the situation at Renault, doesn't it. I read that they are doing some reorganisation.

it was a minor damage that was sustained by hulkenberg and he looks out again for his flying lap. we are currently 2.7 and 3 second deficit from the rest with 4 mins left

Good lap by Russell. Either this pig of a car likes Barcelona, or we definitely made some steps forward.

Kubica... wow. 1.2 seconds is a huge gap.

Poor Robert

He has done a fantastic job o get back into F1 but the years and his terrible accident
have taken there toll.

Still he will be remembered as a true racer in my book.

We (George I mean) are closer to the field, that's really positive so...well done to the team!

Btw, all of Robert's words back in his face.He was asking for different chasis/floor, yes? Now it looks like he had the better one! 1.2sec gap!
Bring back Sirotkin ffs, this guy doesn't deserve a place in F1 as all other teams thought about him.

Kubica is out of excuses. Hes finally got his new chassis (the one George beat him with in Baku) and William's have verified that they are all up to date on parts and Kubica is still pathetic.

Sad to say, but it looks like he's the worst driver we've ever had.

Bruno Senna
Nakajima

Spring to mind.

I mean I'd have to go back and look but I dont remember either of them being quite so bad compared to their respective team mates. The difficulty is they both had respectable cars where this car is a dog.
